It’s fitting that this nostalgic self-titled album primarily manifested out of a mid-19th century plantation home in Georgia. An absolute amalgam of genres, the more upbeat tracks seem well-suited to take in on a sweltering summer day by the water whereas the dreamlike interludes transplant the listener into an almost comatose state, freeing them up to subconscious free thinking. Minimal lyrics reinforce this.
